From the skeletal remains of a bat to a pre-1930’s Tastykake pie wrapper, we’ve found all sorts of interesting tidbits in the house. Including an Armenian orthodox crucifix that keeps showing up at various spots in the house, regardless of where we store it.

A Christmas decoration upon which young Miss Connie Donato decided to practice her handwriting. Note the address on Grant Ave. This is a house (since demolished and is now the site of Woodlyn Elementary School) where the Donato’s moved to before moving back to Greystone in 1947.
